Under-display Camera Image Restoration
Under-display Camera (UDC) is a novel imaging system that places the camera beneath the display, enabling a larger screen-to-body ratio and improved eye tracking. However, the camera’s image quality is significantly degraded due to the decrease in light transmittance and diffraction effects. Previous studies on UDC have primarily relied on synthetic datasets, which fail to capture the complex degradation characteristics found in real-world conditions. Our research aims to build real-world datasets and develop deep learning-based restoration methods that more effectively tackle these challenges.
